Wonders often happen at Christmas
An angel for the Grander Family and all those who need one
Special things happen when we are least expecting them - such as was the case for the Grander Family in Jochberg many years ago before Christmas.
During expansion work on the playground of the Kupferplatte visitors' mine, a tree had to be cut down. It was routine work and nobody had paid any special attention to the tree. But, once the tree trunk was cut into pieces and stacked, Inge, wife of Johann Grander († 2012), noticed a unique shape.
One didn't need much imagination to see that it was the shape of an angel.
The Grander family was very excited about this. The tree trunk was cut into pieces and divided among the children and grandchildren.
"Especially during the Christmas season we appreciate that nature allowed us to find this special symbol. The "wooden angel" has been watching over our family since then..." Heidemarie Grander proudly states.
