Hotel Post - Natural Electricity and GRANDER water

The residents of Koetschach-Mauthen on the Carinthian side of the Ploecken Pass have had electricity since 1889, that means 16 years before the dwellers of the federal states capital, Klagenfurt, even had light.  Electricity, meaning clean energy, has been the specialty of the Klauss family for more than 100 years - first from hydropower, and today from wind, sun and biomass as well.  Through the electricity market liberalisation, it is now possible to deliver environmentally-conscious consumers, who are not indifferent to the origin of their electricity, with AAE-Naturstrom (natural power) throughout Austria.

The second pillar of the Klauss family is a hotel, this is arguably one of the most beautiful in Carinthia.  Wilfried Klauss has kept the pioneering spirit of his great-grandfather.  Because water is not just an element that is suitable for power generation, it is also a gift he gives his guests.

He had already built a water revitalisation system in the Hotel Post in the year 1995.  Since then he has been encouraging his guests to drink the revitalized water.  Later, when Wilfried Klauss noticed that he could significantly reduce the amount of chlorine needed in his swimming pool, his enthusiasm reached new levels.  The next step was to install a GRANDER water revitalizer in the drinking fountain of his show-power station Hydro-solar, so that anyone could take a sip, free-of-charge naturally.
