Bakery Confectionery Cafe Hoernli - The Panorama Restaurant with a view of the Saentis

Hoernli, the last bakery in the municipality Hemberg, was purchased by Edith and Matthias Schelling in 1990.

The business has since been renovated in three phases.  In the year 1992, a large part of the top floor was renovated; during 1996/97 the restaurant was remodeled and the ground floor was enlargened as well as the addition of the kitchen.  In the final stage, a large section of the bakery and the entire store was redone in 2002.  Lastly, in the fall of 2010 the restaurant was enlargened by adding on a winter garden.

You, as our appreciated guests and clients, should feel comfortable with us.  We strive to be unique and we are pleased when you taste our baked goods and dishes.  The raw ingredients, that we use in the bakery as well as the kitchen, should be natural and originate, if possible, from the region.
