Kupferkanne Sylt - coffee, tea, bread, cakes and so much more
Coffee roasting and baking with GRANDER
- A reference in the field of Lebensmittelherstellung Deutschland
The air is filled with the aroma of freshly roasted coffee and delicious cakes, that are made with butter daily in the cafe's own bakery according to traditional recipes. Far away from the hustle and bustle of the popular North Sea island, almost hidden, the Kupferkanne offers a place of relaxation and enjoyment. Whether you begin your day with an ample breakfast in the spring sunshine, secure one of the favourite shady spots under an impressive sun umbrella during high summer or read a good book in front of the fireplace sipping hot tea in winter - Kupferkanne is always in season and a true experience no matter what the season is.
Apart from the wonderful, generous pieces of cake, which Kupferkanne is particularly famous, coffee is also a specialty in this house. The choice of coffee can be quite a task for some guests. Every day there are 30 different baking sheets of cakes baked in-house, each sheets having 50 pieces of cake, and up to 400 litres of coffee are brewed - of course, all with GRANDER water.
"We have been using GRANDER water revitalisation now since 2001. We were the first on the island of Sylt to have water revitalisation installed. We roast our coffee ourselves, bake cakes and bread, and GRANDER is a huge part of it," Knut Paysen, from marketing, explains. Perhaps that is why the cakes always taste so enticingly light and fluffy.
"Since using GRANDER the cakes smell different and we have a better dough process," Peter Lorenzen, master baker, comments.
