Laenggass Tea in Bern - a family-owned company since 1983!

Competent expertise, coupled with tradition and innovation, is our priority. The company is growing and now employs no less than forty employees, in front of and behind the scenes of the stylish shop at Länggassstrasse 47 in Bern. Each year, the oldest son, Kaspar Lange, travels to Asia to select the tea for the coming year and deepen our knowledge as a business.

At home in Bern, tea is tasted, discussed, and studied in fine Asian manner. In concrete terms, this means in exchange, in the observation of what is perceived, tasted and smelled.

All the staff members deepen themselves and their senses with the tea in the house and not infrequently one can hear during a tasting exclamations such as: forest soil, mushrooms, freshly cut grass or Sultania. The world of tea is tasteful and can sometimes be subtle. In order to lend the variety and numerous nuances, it needs good, healthy, moving water - GRANDER water.

From tea, we have learned that patience, combined with skill and expertise, leads to a substance and density which can be confidently called competent and sustainable. A quality that we are able to achieve in cooperation with GRANDER water.

With the 2012 Teacher's School opened by Tina Wagner Lange, our tea knowledge is passed on to enthusiastic and curious private individuals, but more and more also to gastronomic establishments, who want to develop themselves in taste and sensor technology.
